Sec. 941.101. CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY REQUIRED. (a) An attorney in fact may not write insurance in this state or for residents of this state or covering property located in this state unless the attorney in fact holds a certificate of authority issued under this chapter. (b) Except as otherwise provided by this chapter, an attorney in fact must: (1) be a resident of this state; and (2) maintain the attorney in fact's office in this state.
