Sec. 941.002. LLOYD'S PLAN INSURANCE AUTHORIZED; LIFE INSURANCE PROHIBITED. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a Lloyd's plan may write any kind of insurance that may be lawfully written in this state, including: (1) fire insurance, including tornado, hail, crop, and floater insurance; (2) automobile insurance, including fire, theft, transportation, property damage, collision liability, and tornado insurance; (3) liability insurance; (4) marine insurance; (5) accident and health insurance; (6) burglary insurance; (7) plate glass insurance; and (8) fidelity and surety bonds insurance. (b) A Lloyd's plan may not write life insurance.
