Sec. 887.209. VENUE. An action brought against an association that grows out of or is based on any right of claim or loss or proceeds due, arising from or predicated on any claim for benefits under an insurance certificate issued by the association, may be brought in: (1) the county where the certificate holder or beneficiary instituting the action resides; or (2) the county of the principal office of the association.
