Sec. 885.157. ISSUANCE OF PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY. If the purposes of a fraternal benefit society conform to the requirements of this chapter and all provisions of law have been complied with, the commissioner shall: (1) certify that the society is in compliance with all provisions of law; (2) retain and record the articles of incorporation or association; and (3) issue to the society a preliminary certificate of authority.
