Sec. 85.031. ACCEPTING VOTER. (a) For each person entitled to vote an early voting ballot by personal appearance, the early voting clerk shall follow the procedure for accepting a regular voter on election day, with the modifications necessary for the conduct of early voting. (b) On accepting a voter, the clerk shall indicate beside the voter's name on the list of registered voters that the voter is accepted to vote by personal appearance unless the form of the list makes it impracticable to do so, and the clerk shall enter the voter's name on the poll list.
