Sec. 841.147. IMMUNITY. (a) The following persons are immune from liability for good faith conduct under this chapter: (1) an employee or officer of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice or the office; (2) a member of the multidisciplinary team established under Section 841.022 ; (3) the applicable attorney representing the state and an employee of the attorney; and (4) a person providing, or contracting, appointed, or volunteering to perform, a service under this chapter, at the request of the office. (b) A court shall immediately dismiss any action asserting a claim against a person described by Subsection (a) that arose from the person's good faith conduct. (c) This section does not affect a defense, immunity, or jurisdictional bar available to a person described by Subsection (a).
