Sec. 825.215. ADVOCACY PROHIBITED. (a) An employee of the retirement system may not advocate increased benefits or engage in activities to advocate or influence legislative action or inaction. Advocacy or activity of this nature is grounds for dismissal of an employee. (b) This section does not prohibit comments by an employee of the retirement system on federal laws, regulations, or other official actions or proposed actions affecting or potentially affecting the retirement system that are made in accordance with policies adopted by the board.
