Sec. 81.157. DISTRICT COURT JURISDICTION. (a) A proceeding under this chapter must be held in a district court of the county in which the person is found, resides, or is receiving court-ordered health services. (b) If a person subject to an order for temporary management is receiving services in a county other than the county in which the court that entered the temporary order is located and requires extended management, the county in which the temporary order was issued shall pay the expenses of transporting the person back to the county for the hearing unless the court that entered the temporary order arranges with the appropriate court in the county in which the person is receiving services to hold the hearing on the application for extended order before the temporary order expires.
