Sec. 81.023. AUDIT; FINANCIAL REPORT. (a) The financial transactions of the state bar are subject to audit by the state auditor in accordance with Chapter 321 , Government Code. The state bar shall pay the expense of the audit. The auditor's report shall be published in the Bar Journal. (b) The state bar shall file annually with the supreme court, the governor, and the presiding officer of each house of the legislature a copy of the annual financial report prepared by the state bar under Section 2101.011 .
