Sec. 801.252. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSE TO PRACTICE VETERINARY MEDICINE. The board shall issue a license to practice veterinary medicine to a person who is qualified to be licensed to practice veterinary medicine under this chapter. A person is qualified to be licensed to practice veterinary medicine if: (1) the person has attained the age of majority; (2) the person is a graduate of a board-approved school or college of veterinary medicine; (3) the person successfully completes the licensing examination for veterinarians conducted by the board; and (4) the board does not refuse to issue a license to the person under Section 801.401 .
