Sec. 772.602. DEFINITIONS. In this subchapter: (1) "9-1-1 region" means the portion of a state planning region established under Chapter 391 , Local Government Code, composed of counties and municipalities that on September 1, 2015, exclusively received 9-1-1 system services provided by a 9-1-1 system operated through a regional planning commission. (2) "Board" means the board of managers of a district. (3) "District" means a regional emergency communication district created under this subchapter. (4) "Regional planning commission" means a commission or council of governments created under Chapter 391 , Local Government Code, for a designated region.
