Sec. 772.509. ADVISORY COMMITTEE. (a) The board shall appoint an advisory committee consisting of representatives of the participating jurisdictions. The advisory committee shall review, advise, and provide recommendations to the board on district issues, including equipment, training, budget, and general operational issues. (b) An advisory committee member must have the training and experience necessary to perform the duties assigned by the board. (c) Chapter 2110 , Government Code, does not apply to the advisory committee.
