Sec. 702.557. CRIMINAL OFFENSE: INTERFERENCE WITH INVESTIGATION. (a) A person commits an offense if with actual notice that the attorney general, or a district or county attorney, has initiated, or plans to initiate, an investigation under this chapter the person intentionally conceals, alters, destroys, or falsifies a document or record that is relevant or material to the investigation. (b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.
