Sec. 702.554. VIOLATION OF INJUNCTION. (a) The attorney general or a district or county attorney may file suit to recover a civil penalty against a person who violates an injunction issued under this subchapter in an amount not to exceed $25,000 for a single violation. If more than one civil penalty is assessed against the same person, the total amount of civil penalties assessed under this section may not exceed $50,000. (b) Venue for a suit filed under this section is in the district court that issued the injunction that is the subject of the civil penalty.
