Sec. 662.044. COLUMBUS DAY. (a) The second Monday of October is Columbus Day in honor of Christopher Columbus. (b) Columbus Day shall be regularly observed by appropriate ceremonies. (c) Public offices of this state shall remain open on Columbus Day.
