Sec. 651.106. BUSINESS PREMISES. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), a license holder may engage in the business of insurance premium financing: (1) in any office, suite, room, or place of business in which any other business is solicited or engaged in; or (2) in association or in conjunction with any other business. (b) Subsection (a) does not apply if the department: (1) determines, after a hearing, that the conduct by the license holder of the other business at the location for which the license was issued has concealed evasions of this chapter; and (2) orders the license holder in writing to stop engaging in the business of insurance premium financing at that location.
