Sec. 651.057. OFFICERS. (a) The governor shall designate one member of the commission as the presiding officer of the commission to serve in that capacity at the pleasure of the governor. (b) After 30 days' written notice is given to the commissioners, the commission shall elect from its public members an assistant presiding officer. The assistant presiding officer serves in that capacity for one year. (c) The presiding officer shall preside at all meetings of the commission, unless otherwise ordered, and shall exercise all duties and performances incident to the office of presiding officer. In the absence of the presiding officer, the assistant presiding officer shall preside.
