Sec. 63.108. BONDS OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES. (a) Each officer and employee charged with the handling of funds or property of the district shall furnish a good and sufficient bond for a sum sufficient to safeguard the district as determined by the commission. The bond shall be payable to the district and conditioned on the faithful performance of his duties and his accounting of all funds and property of the district coming into his hands. (b) The bonds of other officers of the district shall be approved by the commission and shall be filed for record in the office of the district. The bonds shall be recorded in a book kept for that purpose in the office of the district, and the book shall be open to the inspection of the public during the office hours of the district.
