Sec. 623.192. PERMIT TO MOVE UNLADEN LIFT EQUIPMENT MOTOR VEHICLES. (a) The department may, on application, issue a permit to a person to move over a road or highway under the jurisdiction of the Texas Department of Transportation an unladen lift equipment motor vehicle that cannot comply with the restrictions set out in Subchapter C of Chapter 621 and Section 621.101 . (b) The department may not issue a permit under this section unless the vehicle may be moved without material damage to the highway or serious inconvenience to highway traffic.
