Sec. 62.556. APPEAL TO COMMISSIONER OF DENIAL. (a) If the commissioner denies an application, the applicant is entitled to a hearing if the applicant submits a written request for a hearing not later than the later of: (1) the 30th day after the date the application is filed; or (2) the 15th day after the date the application is denied. (b) Not later than the 30th day after the date the hearing is closed, the commissioner shall enter a final order affirming or withdrawing the denial of the application.
