Sec. 615.005. ASSISTANCE NOT ASSIGNABLE; PAYMENTS EXEMPT. (a) Assistance payable under this chapter is not transferable or assignable at law or in equity. (b) Money paid or payable under this chapter is not subject to execution, levy, attachment, garnishment, or other legal process or to the operation of any insolvency law.
