Sec. 61.175. POWERS. (a) A district operating under this subchapter shall have all the rights, powers, and authority granted by this chapter and shall have all the authority granted by general or special law to navigation districts. (b) A district operating under this subchapter shall also have the fullest powers consistent with the state constitution for the regulation of wharfage and of all facilities relating to the port, waterways, and district. (c) The district may assess and collect charges for the use of all facilities acquired or constructed in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter.
