Sec. 59.053. DISSOLUTION OF DISTRICT BEFORE ISSUANCE OF BONDS. (a) If the board considers it advisable before the issuance of any bonds, the board may dissolve the district and liquidate the affairs of the district as provided by Sections 54.734 through 54.738 . (b) If a majority of the board finds at any time before the authorization of bonds that the proposed district and its proposed activities are for any reason impracticable or apparently cannot be successfully and beneficially accomplished, the board may issue notice of a hearing on a proposal to dissolve the district.
