Sec. 59.047. FRAUD. (a) A person commits an offense if the person defrauds a person of rights or benefits under this chapter or uses this chapter to defraud the state by an act of fraud, duress, deceit, coercion, or misrepresentation. (b) An offense under this section is a felony of the third degree.
