Sec. 55.185. CONTRACT WITH THE UNITED STATES. The board may enter into a contract or other obligation with the United States for the following purposes: (1) to construct, operate, and maintain necessary facilities to deliver and distribute water; (2) to drain district land; (3) to assume debt for district land; (4) to rent temporarily United States water for use on district land under the federal reclamation laws; or (5) to furnish a water supply to the district under any act of Congress which authorizes it.
