Sec. 544.0203. FRAUD, WASTE, AND ABUSE DETECTION TRAINING. (a) The commission shall develop and implement a program to provide annual training on identifying potential cases of Medicaid fraud, waste, or abuse to: (1) contractors who process Medicaid claims; and (2) appropriate health and human services agency staff. (b) The training must include clear criteria that specify: (1) the circumstances under which a person should refer a potential case to the commission; and (2) the time by which a referral should be made.
