Sec. 54.214. BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH PROGRAM; SCHOLARSHIP STUDENT. A student is entitled to pay the fees and charges required of Texas residents without regard to the length of time the student has resided in Texas if the student: (1) holds a competitive academic scholarship or stipend; (2) is accepted in a clinical and biomedical research training program designed to lead to both doctor of medicine and doctor of philosophy degrees; and (3) is either a nonresident or a citizen of a country other than the United States of America.
