Sec. 534.108. STANDARDS OF CARE. (a) The executive commissioner shall develop standards of care for the services provided by a local intellectual and developmental disability authority and its subcontractors under this subchapter. (b) The standards must be designed to ensure that the quality of community-based intellectual disability services is consistent with the quality of care available in department facilities. (c) In conjunction with local intellectual and developmental disability authorities, the executive commissioner shall review the standards biennially to determine if each standard is necessary to ensure the quality of care.
