Sec. 53.207. OWNER'S NOTICE OF CLAIM TO SURETY. (a) If the owner receives any of the notices or a lien is fixed under this chapter, the owner shall mail to the surety on the bond a copy of all notices received. (b) Failure of the owner to send copies of notices to the surety does not relieve the surety of any liability under the bond if the claimant has complied with the requirements of this subchapter, nor does that failure impose any liability on the owner.
