Sec. 51.3541. RESPONSIBILITY OF PRESIDENT OR CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER. (a) In this section, "governing board" and "institution of higher education" have the meanings assigned by Section 61.003 . (b) The president or chief executive officer of an institution of higher education shall conduct annual evaluations for individuals who hold the positions of vice president, provost, dean, or a similar leadership position that oversees curriculum or student affairs for the institution and report to the institution's governing board regarding any decision to remove an individual from a position described by this subsection.
