Sec. 51.3025. NUTRITION EDUCATION COURSEWORK. (a) In this section, "institution of higher education" has the meaning assigned by Section 61.003 . (b) The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board by rule shall require institutions of higher education to provide the opportunity for students enrolled in an associate or baccalaureate degree program at the institution to complete a course of instruction in nutrition education. The course must include curriculum requirements based on nutritional guidelines recommended by the Texas Nutrition Advisory Committee established under Chapter 119B , Health and Safety Code.
