Sec. 505.302. REGULATION OF SPECIALTY AREAS. (a) In establishing a specialty area of social work, the executive council shall: (1) define the scope of the specialty; (2) establish qualifications for specialty area practitioners that describe, in accordance with Subdivision (1), the scope of the specialty area; (3) adopt rules of conduct to ensure strict compliance with and enforcement of this chapter; and (4) adopt rules for the suspension or revocation of an order of recognition of specialty. (b) A person who is not recognized as satisfying the qualifications for a specialty area may not practice in the specialty area.
