Sec. 503.008. FEES FOR LICENSE PLATES. (a) The fee for: (1) a dealer's license plate issued under Section 503.061 is $20 a year; and (2) a dealer's temporary license plate issued under Section 503.062 is $10. (b) The fee for a manufacturer's license plate is $40 a year. (c) The fee for an additional set of drive-a-way in-transit license plates is $5 a year. (d) A fee collected under this section shall be deposited to the credit of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles fund.
