Sec. 501.0235. PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION INFORMATION FOR OBTAINING TITLE. (a) The department may require an applicant for a title to provide current personal identification as determined by department rule. (b) Any identification number required by the department under this section may be entered in the department's electronic titling system but may not be printed on the title.
