Sec. 466.1005. PROCUREMENTS. (a) The commission may purchase or lease facilities, goods, and services and make any purchases, leases, or contracts necessary for carrying out the purposes of this chapter. (b) The commission shall review and must approve all major procurements as provided by commission rule. The commission by rule shall establish a procedure to determine what constitutes a major procurement based on the cumulative value of a contract and other relevant factors. This subsection does not require a commission member to sign the contract. (c) The commission may delegate to the executive director the authority to approve procurements other than major procurements.
