Sec. 463.068. ELECTIONS. (a) In an election ordered by the executive committee: (1) the executive committee shall give notice of the election by publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the authority at least once each week for three consecutive weeks, with the first publication occurring at least 21 days before the date of election; and (2) a resolution ordering the election and the election notice must show, in addition to the requirements of the Election Code, the hours of the election and polling places in election precincts. (b) Subsection (a) does not apply to an election under Section 463.309 . (c) A copy of the notice of each election held under this chapter shall be furnished to the Texas Transportation Commission and the comptroller.
