Sec. 460.057. CONFIRMATION ELECTION. (a) The interim executive committee shall notify the commissioners court of the need to call a confirmation election. (b) The commissioners court in ordering the confirmation election shall submit to the qualified voters in the county the following proposition: "Shall the creation of (name of authority) be confirmed?" (c) In addition to other information required by law, the notice of the election must include: (1) a brief description of the service plan; and (2) a statement that an imposition of a tax to pay for the service plan must be approved by the voters at a subsequent election. (d) The election must be held on a uniform election date.
