Sec. 453.251. LICENSE EXPIRATION. (a) A physical therapist or physical therapist assistant license expires on the later of: (1) the second anniversary of the date the license is issued; or (2) another date determined by the board. (b) The board may adopt a system under which licenses expire on various dates during the year. For the term in which the license expiration date is changed, license fees shall be prorated on a monthly basis so that each license holder pays only that portion of the license fee that is allocable to the number of months during which the license is valid. On renewal of the license on the new expiration date, the total license renewal fee is payable.
