Sec. 453.203. QUALIFICATIONS FOR PHYSICAL THERAPIST OR PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT LICENSE. (a) An applicant for a physical therapist license must, in addition to other requirements and qualifications established by the board, present: (1) evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant has completed an accredited physical therapy educational program; or (2) official documentation from an educational credentials review agency approved by the board certifying that the applicant has completed a program equivalent to a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education accredited program. (b) An applicant for a physical therapist assistant license must, in addition to other requirements and qualifications established by the board, present evidence satisfactory to the board that the applicant has completed an accredited physical therapist assistant program or an accredited physical therapy educational program. (c) A physical therapy educational program or physical therapist assistant program is an accredited program if the program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
