Sec. 451.665. EXPIRATION OF UNCONFIRMED AUTHORITY. An authority, the existence of which has not been confirmed, ceases on the earlier of: (1) the third anniversary of the effective date of the ordinance creating the authority; or (2) the date the governing body of the alternate municipality, with the consent of the board, abolishes the authority.
