Sec. 437.154. REPORT OF MILITARY USE OF PROPERTY. (a) If the department receives notice from the General Land Office as provided by Section 31.156 , Natural Resources Code, the department shall produce a report evaluating the military use of any real property under the management and control of the department. (b) Not later than August 1 of the year in which the commissioner of the General Land Office submits a report as provided by Section 31.157 , Natural Resources Code, the department shall submit a preliminary report of the report required under Subsection (a) to the commissioner of the General Land Office identifying the real property used for military purposes. Not later than September 1 of the year in which the commissioner of the General Land Office submits a report as provided by Section 31.157 , Natural Resources Code, the department shall submit the final report as required by Subsection (a) to: (1) the governor; (2) the presiding officer of each house of the legislature; (3) the Legislative Budget Board; and (4) the governor's budget office.
