Sec. 431.068. CONSTRUCTION OR IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTS. (a) A corporation may contract with the commission to: (1) construct or improve a transportation project designated by the commission; and (2) sell the project or improvement to the commission. (b) For a transportation project constructed by a corporation, the corporation may contract with the commission for the commission to: (1) supervise the construction; or (2) provide construction management services. (c) A corporation and a county, a home-rule municipality, a county road district created under Chapter 257 , or a road utility district created under Chapter 441 may contract to pay jointly the cost of a transportation project designated by the commission. The contract may obligate the corporation to design, construct, or improve the transportation project.
