Sec. 425.225. INVESTMENT IN FOREIGN SECURITIES. (a) An insurer authorized to engage in business in a foreign country may invest in securities of that country that are the same kind of securities as those in the United States in which an insurer is authorized by this subchapter to invest. (b) The aggregate amount of an insurer's investments under this section may not exceed the amount of the insurer's reserves on the business in force in the foreign country.
