Sec. 425.008. AUTHORIZED INVESTMENTS FOR FOREIGN COMPANIES. A foreign company shall invest the company's assets in: (1) securities or property of the same classes in which the law of this state permits a domestic insurance company to invest; or (2) securities permitted by other law of this state and approved by the commissioner as being of substantially the same grade as securities or property in which a domestic insurance company is permitted to invest.
