Sec. 392.034. TERMS OF OFFICE OF COMMISSIONERS. (a) Two of the original commissioners of a county housing authority shall be designated to serve one-year terms from the date of their appointment, and three shall be designated to serve two-year terms. Subsequent commissioners are appointed for two-year terms. (b)(1) The original commissioners of a municipal housing authority shall serve terms as follows: (A) for an authority with five commissioners, two shall be designated to serve one-year terms and three shall be designated to serve two-year terms; (B) for an authority with seven commissioners, three shall be designated to serve one-year terms and four shall be designated to serve two-year terms; (C) for an authority with nine commissioners, four shall be designated to serve one-year terms and five shall be designated to serve two-year terms; and (D) for an authority with 11 commissioners, five shall be designated to serve one-year terms and six shall be designated to serve two-year terms. (2) Subsequent municipal housing commissioners are appointed for two-year terms. (c) Commissioners of a regional housing authority are appointed for two-year terms. (d) Vacancies shall be filled for the unexpired term.
