Sec. 375.097. HEARINGS EXAMINER; ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE ACT. (a) The board may appoint a hearings examiner to conduct any hearing called by the board, including a hearing required by Chapter 395 . The hearings examiner may be an employee or contractor of the district, or a member of the district's board. (b) The hearing shall be conducted in accordance with Chapter 2001 , Government Code.
