Sec. 374.024. AGENCY PERSONNEL; REPORT. (a) An urban renewal agency may employ an executive director, technical experts, and other agents and employees as it determines necessary, and may determine the qualifications, duties, and compensation of those personnel. An agency may employ or retain its own counsel and legal staff to perform required legal services. (b) On or before March 31 of each year, an urban renewal agency shall file with the municipality a report of its activities for the preceding calendar year. If requested by the governing body of the municipality, the agency shall file a quarterly report. The report must include a complete financial statement by the agency that shows its assets, liabilities, income, and operating expenses as of the end of the reporting period. (c) At the time the report is filed, the agency shall publish notice of the filing in a newspaper of general circulation in the municipality. The notice must state that the report is available for inspection during business hours in the office of the urban renewal agency and in the office of the municipal secretary.
