Sec. 363.006. CONSTRUCTION OF CHAPTER; EXEMPTIONS. (a) This chapter does not prohibit or limit a person from extracting or using materials that the person generates or legally collects or acquires for recycling or resale. (b) Materials that are separated or recovered from solid waste for reuse or recycling by the generator, by a private person under contract with the generator, or by a collector of solid waste or recovered materials are not subject to this chapter.
