Sec. 356.001. COURT ORDER AUTHORIZING SALE. (a) Except as provided by this chapter, estate property may not be sold without a court order authorizing the sale. (b) Except as otherwise specially provided by this chapter, the court may order estate property to be sold for cash or on credit, at public auction or privately, as the court considers most advantageous to the estate.
