Sec. 351.255. CONDUCT OF EXAMINATION. (a) The board shall give an applicant notice of the date and place of the examination. The examination shall be given at least twice a year at the board's regular meetings. (b) The board shall conduct the examination: (1) in writing and by other means that the board considers adequate to determine applicant qualifications; and (2) in a manner that is fair and impartial to each applicant and recognized school of optometry. (c) If a national testing organization does not prepare the written portion of the examination, the board shall have an independent testing professional validate that portion. (d) The board shall give the same written examination to each applicant examined at the same time.
